What are the four components of a car chassis?

The car chassis consists of four parts: transmission system, driving system, steering system, and braking system.

The transmission system is responsible for transmitting the power generated by the engine to the wheels, including components such as the clutch, transmission, main reducer, half shaft, universal joint, and transmission shaft.

The driving system mainly consists of a frame, axle, wheels, and suspension, responsible for converting power into traction force on the ground facing the vehicle, while bearing external forces and torques, reducing vibration and impact.

The steering system includes the steering wheel, steering column, steering gear, and power steering mechanism, ensuring that the car can travel in a straight or turning direction according to the driver's wishes.

The braking system slows down or stops the car within the shortest distance as needed to ensure driving safety.
